The Washington Post just exposed Trump, proving that he dictated his son Don Jr.’s initial statement concerning the meeting Jr. had with the Russian lawyer.
Regarding this, WH Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders decided to speak up on Tuesday. She told the reporters that Donald’s decision to help his son compose his statement is “something any father would do.” What a wonderful way to justify a crime…
“He certainly didn’t dictate. But he weighed in, offered suggestions like any father would do.”
Sanders went on bashing Democrats for their obsession with the Russia investigation. She stated:
“This is all discussion, frankly, of no consequence. There was no follow-up, it was disclosed to the proper parties, which is how the New York Times found out about it to begin with. The Democrats want to continue to use this as a PR stunt and are doing everything they can to keep this story alive.”
Except on July 16th, Trump’s attorney Jay Sekulow said on Meet the Press:
“The president was not involved in the drafting of the statement and did not issue the statement.”
