Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) on Wednesday morning became the first Republican to call for Trump’s impeachment. When Amash was asked if he would believe Comey over Trump, he said “I think it’s pretty clear I have more confidence in Director Comey.”

Also, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has taken a different stand on Trump’s treason. Ryan used to brush off allegations of Trump-Russia collosion. Now he calls for a “close examination” of Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey.

In a private meeting with rank-and-file Republican s, Ryan said “now is the time to get the pertinent information” about the Trump-Comey-Russia ordeal.

This comes amid allegations that Trump actually tried to get the House Oversight Committee to hand over the memo Comey wrote about his meeting with Trump.

This said memo was written just after the President and then-FBI Director met to discuss Michael Flynn’s firing.

It is believed that Comey wrote in the memo that Trump without hesitation asked him to stop investigating his campaign’s ties to Russia.

This might be the final nail in Trump’s career when proven to be true. Our so-called Republicans cannot stand by a President who routinely obstructs justice; it’s not on-brand for them. This is evidence to why they are indecisive most of the time around Trump.
