Police are still looking for a man who was accused of dousing his girlfriend with gasoline and then setting her on fire in front of her 2 small kids according to information posted on Local10. Noel Grullon, 32, is wanted by police officials in Hialeah, Florida, for allegedly setting his pregnant girlfriend on fire on July 27th.

Allegedly, Grullon and his pregnant girlfriend of 6 months, were arguing over cigarettes when the argument must have rocked Grullon’s core in a very bad way. According to law officials Grullon, doused his pregnant girlfriend with gasoline and set her on fire, causing the pregnant woman second degree burns to the upper torso of her body, according to information posted on wsvn.


Police are saying this heinous crime was all over an argument between the accused and his pregnant girlfriend. The expecting mother told police that after the argument she went outside to calm her nerves and once she returned to the house, that is when she was attacked.

All Over Nothing:
Reportedly, according to Hialeah Police Sgt. Carl Zogby, when describing what lead up to the couples fall-out according to the source:

“They start arguing over silly matters. I think over a pack of cigarettes or something,” “She runs to the bathroom quickly, takes her shirt off and jumps into the shower, is able to extinguish this fire, but still, she got second degree burns all over her chest and her neck.”


The pregnant victim who was treated for her 2nd degree injuries, had only been dating Grullon, for six months before this incident. The victim also has other small children ranging in age of 1 and 4 years old and were present when their mother was set on fire according to the police. Law officials are still looking for Noel Grullon, who also has went by the name of Noel Castro. Police state that he fled the scene after setting his pregnant girlfriend on fire in a 2007 black Ford pickup truck, with the Florida license plate tag HVDE62, as posted by the source.

Grullon is currently on probation according to law officials, after he served a 12 year prison term for several violent crimes including, kidnapping, robbery and aggravated battery, as posted by the source.


Be On The Look Out:
Since the incident police officials have not been able to locate Grullon. Hialeah Police spokesperson Carl Zogby, stated its just a matter of time until he is caught as posted on Huffingtonpost. The victim and her baby are also expected to be ok. Police are asking the public for any information about Grullon’s whereabouts to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers, at 305-471-TIPS.
